The initiative is part of Parmigiani’s commitment to support greatness in all its forms – the Brazilian football legend looming large over the world of football, with an almost non-stop line up of outstanding players through its long history.

 

CBF has been at the heart of this legendary success story by nurturing and turning out teams known for their spell-binding silken skills, astonishing acrobatics as well as tenacious tackling. Parmigiani Fleurier is proud to be able to join forces with this legend and announce its partnership with the CBF as official watchmaker.

 

Over its long history, CBF has produced the world’s best men’s and women’s football teams as well as outstanding junior squads. 2014 marks a milestone in this many-splendored success story with the World Cup coming to Brazil for the first time and CBF celebrating its centenary as authors of one of the greatest chapters in world football history.

 

To mark the partnership, Parmigiani is creating an exclusive collection of fine watches – the Parmigiani Pershing, which will be launched worldwide in June 2011. In addition, Parmigiani will be supporting the emergence of future young talent, by rewarding the best Brazilian under-21 player every year till 2015.

 

The Swiss watchmakers are also honoured to be able to invite, from today, customers and media from across the world to attend matches played by the main Brazilian teams and international soccer championships featuring the ‘Selecao’.
